Sanitary Pads Donations
Women in Lebanon are facing period poverty,as the financial crisis, the world bank has dubbed one of the world's worst since the 1850s deepens. With more than half the population living in poverty, women are being forced to find other alternatives given the rise in almost 500 percent of the price of menstrual pads.
To this end, funds from Belgium were received to help with the current sanitary pad crisis. More than150 female students were able to receive their needs of sanitary pads.
